Richard Light

 

Richard Light is a professional artist who lives and works in Kendal. He is a member of the Green Door Studios, the Cumbria Network and the a-n, Artist Information Company.

 

Current practice is a partnership with Paul Clark as Outside Artists, engaged in performance and environmental art.

 

Other recent work includes directing an art video, ‘Above and Below’, with Alan Greenwell and Paul Clark, 2008/10. This is a work in progress about the altered states of mind induced by wild swimming.

B.A. in Mathematics and Psychology (Special study: Visual Perception and Geometry), Sussex University, 1969.
